Bar W Fence Co., LLC was founded by Sam Wood. Sam grew up in a ranching family in California where the family and Sam continue to run cattle to this day. There is a reason we like to say, built by ranchers, for ranchers. In ranching families at least someone is ultimately delegated to fixing or building fence, Sam’s family was no different. At the age of thirteen he was placed on his first legitimate fence crew on the ranch. From there he attended and graduated Montana State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. But, as they say, you do what you know. Sam was no different, after a quick stint cowboying in Montana he ventured back to California and quickly realized the market opportunities for a agricultural fence company focused on quality and customer care. There Bar W Fence Co. was born. Since then Sam and his crews have focused on customer satisfaction, absolute quality of builds and creating the most effective and aesthetically pleasing agricultural fence you can build. From keeping as up to date with the current best materials to continuing to upgrade equipment in an effort to save on time, and save our crews backs.
